Aalo approaches commercial readiness

Aalo finishes construction of full-scale prototype reactor. Extensive sodium testing begins in Texas.

Aalo implements Nuclear Quality Assurance and progresses deeply on DOE authorization for Aalo-X.

Manufacturing and fuel fabrication begins for Aalo-X, environmental reviews completed on site at INL.

Aalo makes history

June 2020

Aalo reaches 90% Final Design in less than 30 months. Nuclear construction begins on site.

June 2020

Manufacturing completes on Aalo-X, installation occurs at INL, with criticality planned shortly thereafter (Q4 2027 target).
