Aalo Atomics is proud to announce a strategic collaboration with Flowserve, a leader in nuclear pumps, valves, seals and critical flow-control systems manufacturing and aftermarket services.

Leadership from both organizations formalized their agreement during a signing ceremony, marking the beginning of a long-term partnership that will grow as Aalo scales its deployments of extra-modular reactors (XMRs) to serve the data center market.

This partnership bolsters Aalo’s system completeness and advances our readiness to implement sodium reactor technology through derisking from an established partner with a history of excellence. Aalo will also benefit from Flowserve’s intangible nuclear know-how. Its legacy includes major contributions to the Primary Coolant System for EBR-II, a sodium reactor that operated for decades with unparalleled reliability at Idaho National Laboratory.

Now, Aalo and Flowserve, both based in Texas, build on that legacy to accelerate 21st century American manufacturing, energy independence, and decarbonization efforts.

The consistent, controlled, and precisely monitored flowing of liquid sodium is at the heart of safe and reliable operation of Aalo reactors. We look forward to progressing with Flowserve as we pull advanced nuclear from demonstration stage to commercial deployment over the coming years.
